Softly the evening came. The sun from the western horizon
Like a magician extended his golden want o’er the landscape;
Trinkling vapors arose; and sky and water and forest
Seemed all on fire at the touch, and melted and mingled together.
– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Evangeline
Kurt Harvey, an EarthSky friend on Google+, contributed this that quote and this photo. He wrote that the photo is a …
… blend of 3 bracket RAW files, B&W layer with luminosity blending and very low opacity. Cloned out two saguaros that were distracting. Canon 6D, 70-200mm, tripod and a bit of luck in that I found a small space to shoot between two houses on the near horizon!
