In this beautiful video from Southern Hemisphere photographer Alex Cherney we see Comets Lemmon (C/2012 F6) and PANSTARRS (C/2011 L4) as they appeared in southern skies earlier in February 2013. How awesome is that, to see two comets in the sky at once! We in the Northern Hemisphere can’t see either of these comets yet. But Comet PANSTARRS should become visible to the eye alone to northern observers in early March 2013.
