Roquebrun
April 15, 2017
Roquebrun is a small village in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region in southern France with a variety of tourist accommodations and a reasonably dark sky, just 61 miles (99 km) southwest of Montpellier, France. Hotels, vacation lodges, and campgrounds are all available within the commune and in neighboring cities. However while a beautiful destination for casual gazing, Roquebrun is not recommended for serious observations. It has also been called a charming small town in an attractive setting on the River Orb, nicknamed “Le Petit Nice” for its balmy Mediterranean micro-climate and most visited for its Mediterranean garden.
