Thank you to Tor-Ivar Næss for sharing this gorgeous – though chilly – photo with us. Tor-Ivar’s description:
A night scene captured at Kvænangsfjellet at the border between Nordreisa and Kvænangen in Troms, Norway. It’s really something special when the moon lights up a winter scene like this.
Even though the moonlight is so bright that it takes away the faintest of stars and auroras it’s a good ally to have when the auroras are powerful enough to be seen by the naked eye and therefore even better by a digital camera.
