Today, as Lead Editor at EarthSky.org, she helps present the science and nature stories and photos you enjoy. She also serves as one of the voices of EarthSky on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and G+. She and her husband live in Tennessee and have two grown sons.
Night-shining clouds over Estonia
Kairo Kiitsak captured an impressive display of noctilucent, or night-shining, clouds, in Simuna, Estonia on July 26, 2018. Noctilucent clouds are seen at high latitudes only from about mid-May to August. Wondrous, if you can catch them!
