Ankobra
April 21, 2018
Ankobra is a farm in southwest Jamaica, offering accomodation for visitors. The darkness of the night sky at Ankobra ranges from class 3 to 4 in the Bortle scale. EarthSky was told the following about the site: “Ankobra is our farm and homestead near Black River, on Jamaica’s south coast. Skies are typically dark and cloudless, even on nights following afternoon showers. We welcome guests through Airbnb for two bedrooms in our home and a free-standing three-room cabin, La Casita. We love to get out our 8″ Celestron for great views of the universe. Check us out!” Please note that the precise location of the venue is only provided after booking.
