Here’s a time-exposure photograph, posted to Earthsky Facebook yesterday (October 20, 2015) by Joe Randall in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It captures the headlights of cars moving along a highway, plus the movement of stars at night, as Earth turns under the sky. The starry streaks are called star trails. Click here to learn how to capture them.
Thanks, Joe!
