I spent the weekend basking in the cold winter sun near the Canadian border … and I was greeted with a gorgeous winter sunrise over a frozen marsh in Birch Bay, WA. Mt. Baker can be seen in the back ground.
I was standing up to my ankles in ice cold water to get the perfect angle on the marsh grass, let me tell you it was cold! This shot is composed of 6 individual exposures hand blended in CS6 to obtain the DOF seen here. A CPL was also used.
