EarthSky Facebook friend Nathan Smith captured this photo yesterday (November 13) and called it Storm Season Begins in Australia. He wrote:

Took this one tonight out at a secret location of mine.

Perfect timing to capture this image. Car was driving past and shined its head lights on all the trees as the lightning struck and the thunder rolled by.
