
If you’re far enough south on the globe to see them, the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds – the two satellite galaxies of our home galaxy Milky Way – are best seen in the evening from December to April. Astrophotographer Colin Legg in Australia captured this cool photo of a meteor streaking between the two Magellanic Clouds in August 2013. Thank you, Colin!
