Melissa Finucane studies how people judge situations, assess risks, and make decisions as influenced by psychological, social, and cultural factors, particularly regarding climate. She is a senior fellow at the East-West Center, working mainly with the Environmental Change, Vulnerability, and Governance group, and has published in numerous journals. Dr. Finucane holds a Ph.D. from the University of Western Australia.
