Post-processing Details:

SKY - Stack of 90 images in sequence and later blended in Photoshop . F2.8 , 30" , ISO500
FOREGROUND - Single shot 322" , ISO 1000 . Tried light painted but didn´t work well.
Both images , stack of the sky and foreground , were stacked and blended together using Photoshop

Image Details:

Every night, millions of stars in their apparent rotation paint the sky over the ruins of Achada do Gamo with their colors, as if evoking the memory of the hundreds of workers who for generations earned their meager wages here.
In this unit - Furnace Nº1 - the Sulfur was extracted by melting cupric pyrites in a very environmental aggressive process.
It was deactivated on 30 September 1962.
