I was up early this morning when I saw what looked like a red solar pillar to the north. The sun was not yet up and this was the wrong direction so I wasn’t sure what I was seeing. Upon investigation, I traced the arc up and over to the left (west) into the farmers field, where I saw the other side of a red rainbow. By the time I walked out into the field the sun was rising behind me and the monochrome rainbow was starting to fade.
