I am submitting this neat shot on behalf of a friend, John Jaenike, who was vacationing in beautiful Amsterdam, NL. This photo shows a nice 22° solar halo formed from high cirrus clouds that are being ripped to shreds by strong winds. That little cloud obscuring the Sun is festooned by pretty pink, purple, and yellow iridescence that (no doubt in my mind :) ) is trying its best to mirror the tulips for sale in the Bloemenmarkt.
