Sony A7RV camera with Sky Watcher 72ED APO Refractor on Sky Watcher EQM35 equatorial tracking mount.

Post-processing Details:

Photos edited in lightroom to recover highlights and balance, composited stack created with photoshop.

Image Details:

What an incredible experience that cannot be conveyed by words and photographs can never fully encapsulate. This was my second total solar eclipse, 2017 being a catalyst that sparked my interest in astrophotography, and after years of waiting and months of planning and practice, here is my composition of the progression of Bailey's Beads and totality. Second contact approaches in the upper left of the image and totality ends with third contact to the bottom right.
