"DIAMOND RING"....Almost totality. I shot a series of over 250 images starting at Contact 1 when the moon started moving in over the sun to Contact 4 where the moon moved away from covering the sun. This is right before totality. The corona is quite bright and the small piece of sun exposed creates a 'diamond ring.' The totality in Concordia, Mexico was FOUR MINUTES and 25 seconds...perhaps the longest along the dead center of the path of totality!
