Crescent Moon & Seven Sisters (Pleaides) in an Intimate Conjunction!

Tonight the waxing crescent was in the Taurus constellation and we had almost an occultation of the Pleaides star cluster but waxing crescent almost missed it and was in a super close conjunction with the Seven Sisters.

The weather was tricky as there were a few high clouds near the western horizon and I was afraid that they might ruin this beautiful celestial conjunction. But those high clouds turned out to be helpful for imaging and created Iridiscence by reflecting the moonlight adding to the beauty of the frame.

Behold the intimate celestial meetup of the Pleaides star cluster aka the Seven Sisters with 11% waxing crescent from tonight from the skies of Islamabad.
