ZWO Seestar S50 telescope + solar filter - video capture of the partial eclipse

Post-processing Details:

Pulled the AVI video in Photos on iPad. Each frame of the plane crossing the sun was then exported as a TIFF into pictures. The frames were then brought into Photoshop 2024 where the image was cropped to a 9:16 ratio and then scaled up to roughly 2x original size.

Image Details:

A bit of luck meets weeks of planning and preparation. I had planned on shooting what we would see of a partial eclipse on Amelia Island, FL. I was shooting 2 camera plus my ZWO Seestar S50 for closeups of the eclipse. As luck would have it, just as the eclipse was to end in about 15 minutes, I was watching the Seestar live feed and caught what appeared to be a plane crossing directly across the Sun. The Jacksonville airport is about 30 miles away so this was one taking off from JAX. Anyway, I noted the time and looked at the video from that timeframe and captured some 15 frames of the airplane flying directly between the sun and my telescope.
