Image Details:

Plans changed at the last minute so I just watched and photographed from my driveway in Montague, N.J. Although dark skies are getting harder and harder to come by, I still have some beautiful views right at home. It was supposed to be clear all night and unfortunately snow clouds unexpectedly moved just when meteors started getting active! I managed to photograph some beauties before total cloud cover for the rest of the night. This is Jupiter and a Geminids meteor bottom center with the Pleiades star cluster above and the red star, Aldebaran to the left of Pleiades. Going to try again tonight!! Geminids is my favorite meteor shower!!
