At last today I saw the pair of bald eagles on the same tree though not perched very close together. I think the female is on the left lower branch. The male and female bald eagles look similar, with the main difference being the females are about a third of the size larger than males. The bald eagles mate for life, many times not even choosing another mate when one of the pair passes on.
