Equipment Details:

Nikon D3300 with Tamron 18-400mm lens at 300mm. F7. 60 second exposures at iso1600 Mounted to a DIY motorized equatorial mount. DigiCam software for long exposure control.

Post-processing Details:

edits in Camera Raw, stacked comet with Deep Sky Stacker. About 30 photos stacked with a few shakes thrown out, which is why the star trails have some gaps.

Image Details:

Went out to photograph Comet C2022 E3 ZTF. Colder than I thought it would be, ran a long usb cable to the car so I could sit in there while capturing these exposures. Tried stacking just the comet as it was moving considerably faster than the rest of the sky.
