It's always amazing, & a great challenge, photographing the Northern Harrier hawks. One of my favorite raptors, it usually hunts low over fields, scanning the ground. It has a distinctive gliding flight while hunting, seeming acrobatic. The male, which this one is, is nicknamed the "Gray Ghost".
