Equipment Details:

Post-processing Details:

Cropped, sharpened.

Image Details:

A Chickadee at my birdfeeder has just nabbed a shelled sunflower seed and is getting ready to eat it. Which is does by grasping it in its talons and pecks away to reduce the seed to smaller bite size pieces. Then it gets another one. This species seems to acclimate to humans quickly as they will remain close by when I'm refilling the feeders. Several times I have stopped still whispered to them and they come to arm's length away to inspect " the Food Guy ".
