After weeks of peril languishing under the weight of three feet of heavy snow, finally our trees have been relieved of their burden. This week's above-freezing temps melted the snow threatening to break treetops and large branches. Amazingly, there was little damage!

This morning our trees are wearing lacy New Year's Eve party dresses to celebrate their triumph! And what's a New Year's Party without a crow?!

Huzzah! Happy New Year!
