Letterboxed Solstice Sunset.
On 21st December, following a day of continuous overcast with more than 30 mm of rain, the sky against all the odds started to clear and a narrow gap opened between a layer of cloud and the horizon to the south-west of Mutare to provide an almost miraculous 2 minute letterboxed view of the Solstice Sun (with two sunspots visible) setting in the distance behind Hospital Hill.
