Image Details:

Comet 2020 V2 is the second brightest at this time. It had a partial occultation of galaxy NGC
2276 that was captured in these two images about 40 minutes apart. Each image is comprised 4 x 120 sec. At this scale the comet is moving quickly across the background sky. An occultation of a moderately bright galaxy by a moderately bright comet is infrequent and a photo opportunity.
