This beautiful frost pattern was on my windshield when leaving my house, right after sunrise (photo taken from inside my car). Also known as fern frost & ice flowers, window frost is created when a glass pane is exposed to extremely cold air and warmer, moister indoor air. A pretty start to a morning of photography.
