When winter approaches, the local eagles that don't migrate seem to be creatures of habit. They start hanging out & fishing near the Cohoes Falls where the water doesn't freeze completely. This eagle is drawn to the same tree for feeding, year after year. In this year's pic (at a bit of a different angle) you can see where parts of the branches have broken off.
