Equipment Details:

Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset mode

Post-processing Details:

Image size reduction with minimal application of Star Spikes Pro filter to make the two planets more clearly visible.

Image Details:

Mercury and Venus Setting.
Very clear sky with excellent visibility to the southwest of Mutare on 30 November, after several days of overcast with rain, enabled Mercury above Venus to appear near the horizon behind Hospital Hill between thirty five and forty minutes after sunset with Venus setting on the flank of Hospital Hill four minutes later at 6.57 pm. This must be one of the earliest evening observations the two innermost planets after an absence of almost two months.
