Post-processing Details:

Gimp and PixInsight
Combined 25 5-minute exposures. Had to lens-correct from bad backfocus due to the Barlow.

Image Details:

The cigar galaxy shares deep space with its neighbor, Bode's Galaxy. Designated M81 and M82, these galaxies hang out near Ursula Major "The Big Dipper" and close to Polaris, so they are mostly visible year-round in the North.
