Image Details:

Part of the sky cleared after sunset and it was astonishing to see the waxing crescent moon. I took the image at a distance to include the vibrant twilight colors over the Pacific Ocean. The faint straight line pointing to the moon from the left is a contrail (condensation trail) in the wake of an aircraft. It is said that the process behind contrails broadly resembles frozen breath on a cold winter's day
