Image Details:

The waxing crescent moon with Earthshine at 9% full descending in the WSW direction at a distance of 362.945 km away from Earth. Moonset was at 9.24 pm in the same direction. Even though it was crescent moon , the features of the unlit portion of the moon could be seen from the close up view and it resembles an ‘eclipse’.
