This is a circumzenithal arc, an optical phenomenon like a halo around the sun, according to a page I found on this site. In this photo, the sun is behind the trees at the bottom-centre of the photo. I'm 50 years old and I had never seen one of these before. The page I'm talking about is https://earthsky.org/earth/i-saw-an-upside-down-rainbow-circumzenithal-arc/ but the last photo was posted there in 2014... Don't know if it's still active, but here's the photo anyway.
