Very thing waning crescent moon one day before the new moon. The moon is about 2.9% illuminated and is at 10.5 degrees altitude and 23 minutes before sunrise. This is one of the thinnest moon I have . Tomorrow morning the moon will be even thinner and rising very close to sunrise and may not be visible.
