Post-processing Details:

Best 15% of 50,000 frames of video were stacked with AutoStakkert, wavelets adjusted with AstroSurface, final tweaks using Photoshop.

Image Details:

I had given up on imaging last night due to cloudy conditions but just after midnight the sky cleared, and I was able to capture this image of Mars. On December 8 Mars will be at opposition and closest to Earth. Photographs of the red planet should be even better in coming days as long as the weather cooperates!
