At this time of the year, usually early in the morning, it's nice to watch the nest building or refurbishing of a bald eagles nest. Both of the local eagle couple in Cobleskill were relaxing late afternoon in their favorite tree at the reservoir, which is about 3 miles from their nest. A little while before sunset, it was awesome to watch the male fly off the tree, swoop down and grab a talon full of nesting material, then fly away & head to the nest with it. This will be their 6th nesting season there.
