Stars and part of the MIlky Way over the Siletz River. The orangey glow over the trees are due to the vehicle lights travelling the main road (Highway 101). Here in the Northern Hemisphere, the MIlky Way season ends this month of October. From November to January the Galactic Center of the Milky Way is not visible because it is blocked by the sun. The galactic center is only above the horizon during daylight hours then.
