Equipment Details:

Canon R6 with 600mm lens plus 2x Teleconverter

Post-processing Details:

14 separate images merged in Lightroom, slight processing, Sharpening with Topaz Sharpen AI and then slight tweak of vibrance and saturation in Lightroom

Image Details:

Last nights moon was a Waning Gibbous, now just shy of the full moon for October, the Hunter's Moon. Conditions were ideal when I created this image after rising at 7:39pm. I merged 14 images of varying apertures and shutter speeds which gave me the detailed surface with different dull colour ranges. I then tweaked the vibrance and saturation in Lightroom which brought out the actual colour variations which are from the minerals on the moons surface.
