Waxing Gibbous Moon & Jupiter Setting.
At 4.15 am on Saturday 8th October, the 96% illuminated Waxing Gibbous Moon with Jupiter (above and to the right) were observed approaching the horizon to the west of Mutare. The Moon quickly changed colour and faded in brightness due to smoke-haze as it set a quarter of an hour later.
