Image Details:

I was preparing for my evening of imaging with plans to capture some planets before switching to nebulae. As I was wrapping up with my planetary camera, I noticed the moon had picked up a red tinge as it approached the horizons. This is due to heavy smoke in the atmosphere from the Bolt Creek fire that has been active for weeks. I captured about 2500 shots that I stacked together for this image.
