Today is International Observe the Moon Night. I watched the waxing crescent moon for a day! The waxing crescent moon rose from the southeast near noon today. At this time, the sun was very strong and it was very difficult to find the moon in the blue sky. After that, the moon rose slowly and moved to the southern zenith at around 4 pm. It finally set in the southwest at more than 9 pm.
