Equipment Details:

250MM lens on a sony a6000 camera mounted on a celestron avx mount to track the stars. the lens is a williamd redcat 51 which is designed for astrophotography

Post-processing Details:

stacked and stretched in pixinsight
edited in photoshop to adjust levels and black point
topaz denoise as a last step

Image Details:

M31 the andromeda galaxy from my backyard in central texas. a total of 7 hours of exposure time,420 3 minute exposures . M31 is one of my favorite targets and since the pleiades star cluster wasnt going to clear teh trees at my house until after 1:30 am i decided to shoot the galaxy instead.
