Young Moon in fading smoke-hazed Volcanic Sunset 6.12-6.27 pm.
On Tuesday 27th September the two day old 3.6% illuminated waxing crescent Moon could be seen with difficulty above the glow of a fading smoke-hazed volcanic sunset.
