Very slight crop & enhance
Sitting by a dam spillway, photographing some migrating shorebirds, I got quite a surprise when one of the local Great Blue Herons unexpectedly flew right in front of me. With a wingspan of six feet and a flight speed of 20 to 30 miles per hour, they are beautiful to see in flight.
