Mammoth Sunflowers.
In late August, they weathered three Strong Thunderstorms and hail damage. The stalks in the right had leaned all the way to the ground. They stood up again with some trellis support. As soon the sun came out, they bloomed like there was no yesterday or tomorrow.
The resilience this plant shows against severe weather is an inspiration.
