Sitting by the Hudson River, across from an empty bald eagle's nest, I heard a whiny screeching sound nearby. I was surprised when I spotted both of the juveniles (one flying out immediately) in the shadows of a tree close to me. I haven't seen them since they fledged, so it's good to know they are doing well, & even hanging out together.
