Image Details:

2022 has been a very actitve monsoon season in the southwestern United States, causing high levels of rainfall, flooding, and some road damage in areas ranging from southern California through the southwest. The image was taken at the Grand Canyon, an area less prone to rainfall than areas in the south of Arizona. A storm moved in from the south and dropped several lightning bolts into the canyon itself. This image is a capture of one of those bolts, with rain showers and sun rays visible above the canyon.
