Did a guided all-day walk on the amazing Root glacier near Kennecott, AK. Yes, it's kind of sad to see glaciers retreating and melting, but it's a bittersweet feeling seeing these incredible melt pools! I was just wondering how to show the scale, when three other hikers walked by the top ledge, perhaps without even knowing there's a pool down here!
