Equipment Details:

Canon XS on tripod. 18-55 mm zoom lens at 55mm, f/7.1 for 1/4 second at ISO 200.

Post-processing Details:

None.

Image Details:

From the front yard, through typical suburban clutter. Half-hour before sunrise, the thin Moon and bright Venus (down under wires and above the trees). The wonderful Earthshine on the Moon is not visible because the longer exposure needed to show it would make Venus disappear in the increasing twilight. See the blog post for an earlier photo before Venus-rise showing the Earthshine on the Moon.
