Mom white-tailed mule deer and male fawn, distinguished by the crown markings on forehead which will darken as he ages graced our backyard this morning. Thank goodness mom stopped for a drink at one of our four birdbaths, as baby fawn was really running, playing and joyously kicking up his heels; glad to catch him standing still.
